| I just bought my first bus. It's a 70 and runs smoothley. Has new transmission, and newly rebuilt engine. The interior needs a fair amount of work. Headliner, panels, flooring, etc.. does anyone know of a good place to go in Orange County for interior and or a good and honest mechanic? Also any beginner tips. Any info about a bus will help. Thanks a lot... |

| I'd start at the salvage yards for interior parts. I always see a lot of bay windows with interiors still in tact at salvage yards. There's a guy in Huntington Beach who's into bay window busses who might be a good resource: Barry of Barry's Boneyard. I've gotten some parts from him a couple of times. I take my bus to Ferguson's in Garden Grove for mechanical work. They're honest and very thorough. Check'em out. |
