The handle on my 1970's door has become hard to open. I now have to squeeze the button-part very hard and it goes almost all the way in before the mechanism clicks and the door opens.
I've examined all the separate parts and compared them all to the other front door-- I'm stumped. Where/how does this adjust? Is it a failure of the handle assembly itself? Anyone have a fix? Thanks |

| If you tighten the two handle screws on the inside too much you will have problems. |
