| Does this reservoir need to be sealed. At the moment the cap is on there, but stripped and not holding any kind of seal. Not good. Anyone have a part number on a cap for this? Thanks again. |

| The cap is vented. It has to be. As long as dirt does not enter, you should not have a problem. I may have a good used cap. |

Check under the reservoir. If under the rubber mat the paint is bubbled or it's rusty, you have or had a leak. Or the previous owner spilled some fluid.
