| What do I need to do to use a 6 volt southwind gas heater on my 78 12 volt system? |

| You may want to stay away from the Southwind heater. From what I have heard it lacks the safety features of the Eberspacher heaters and was prone to catching fire if not properly maintained. I have used The Eberspacher in my 72 van back in 72 and currently use one in my 73 Thing. Used BN4 heaters always show up in the classifieds and on E Bay at reasonable prices. Espar also sells a current version of the gas heater for about $1300. |
