I went to a swap meet and purchased a T4 engine upgrade that includes new 2.0L pistons and cylinders. I am interested in installing these into a VW 411 1.8L that is getting 2.0L crankshaft, con rods, and 71mm cam.
The P&C set seems to be unmarked regarding which OEM made them, other than a number "2" that is embedded into the top of the piston. The box is marked as "021 198 075 96" and an internet search on this number says they may be made by AA.
How can I find out which OEM made this P&C set? Where should I look for markings and what should I look for?
