It's Mike from Long Beach...thanks again for the middle bench seat!!!
Nice work on your engine...what type of paint did you use or did you have it powder coated???
Thanks Mike, I had my engine tin powder coated. How did the bench seat work out? BTW get that fuel filter out of you engine compartment and mount it somewhere else. Less chance of a fuel leak on a hot engine.
The seat is working out great! Thanks for that info I think I am gonna get my stock rims, bumpers, and engine tin powder coated but need to save $$$, and thanks for the fuel filter recommendation, I have heard it a few times and will be pulling the engine to powder coat it and relocating the filter. |

If I had to guess I'd say it must be a flux capacitor.....

dweller, the box is a Universal CDI which I think works very well. The bracket that the CDI sits on is a custom machined thing I built.

Bartoli, You have the vaccum advance hose hooked to the wrong port on the carb.
it goes on the left side of the carb where you have the black rubber plug. |

very clever idea for isolator mounts. I had to source mine new and from old gas heaters.

This is what my 1800 looked like 16 years after it had had any kind of major work.
Pulled the tin, cleaned and resealed everything, and slapped it back in a newer body. |

nothing special here:
however, i expect i'll be in for the "relocate that fuel filter!" treatment...
i've been reading through the many threads - is there a quick answer for the best spot to relocate?
Thanks,

Yup, I did when I took these pictures. I've since moved it to the side and put the shepard's hook metal line back on. |
