Before
After
nothing crazy, just a quick clean up, ditched some wires, and replaced the fan shroud and plenty of degreasing both the engine and engine bay.
this is my daily |

My '69 that I inherited from my father. The first photo is the engine bay when I picked it up in Seattle last month. It had been sitting since 1985:
Here is the engine bay as of today. I have since removed the 40mm Dellortos (way overkill for this engine) and today installed my Dual Solex kit from Gene Berg. Needless to say he fired right up. The engine runs great; my dad had completely rebuilt it (semi-hemi heads, ported, polished, balanced, etc). Less than 500 miles on the rebuild. Tomorrow I will dial in the carbs and tidy up the fuel lines and electrical:

nope, i know of the bus but nothing about it. He bought it from some guy on craigslist a while back. that guy supposedly built it, you need to locate him for info.
if it had the camper interior in it still complete i would have bought it. I already have a 69 highroof but then i would have 2! |

Here's mine from a couple years ago. I had the tins powder coated. They were supposed to turn out 'chrome like'...not so much. Looks the same today, minus the stinger. 2 liter with 40 mm dells, FAT valve covers

Guess I will have to do that. Luckily I have a full camper interior, would have liked to have had a hightop interior.
