duderman wrote: It was a sad day today. While driving to the store I saw a cactus cowboy lying on the side of the road. I looked over and not only was mine messing but the antenna too. On the way back I stopped. The antenna was nowere to be found, the cawboy had been stripped and beaten. He will be missed. :(

Google is your friend===> DIY Brake Bleeder
I did mine a bit different, and don't put the brake fluid in the pressure vessel, but only use it to pressurize the header tank/reservoir. PM me if you want to know more.[/quote]
Thanks for the link I'm gona make one tonight! |

Put in a new Bosch rebuilt starter and while I was at it a hot start relay. AMAZING!!!
The old starter clearly had a problem. 117 amps draw cold start but over 200 amps hot. New one draws 87 amps both ways. Moreover, the engine now spins fast!!!!
Also finished painting the last of the bus (doglegs) and put in new door panels and a new floor mat.
Only thing left before show season is redoing the wooden headliner. |

When they're not on the road my bug lives inches from the bus. The two of them make a great multipurpose team.
Hey Paul, When you come to Arizona for summer camping leave those nifty lantern hangers home. They probably will droop until the lanterns are at ground level. |

They're pretty stout... Sched 40 PVC and they don't flex at all... we'll see this summer.... I probably would take them down in the daytime anyway...
I probably won't need them in Arizona when i come.... We have monster Skeeters here. ...
and i'll be camping there around Mid April..... 8) |

Now, that's clever. I hang mine with a chain when I have the awning out but I've wonder what to do if I didn't have 'er out. Nice work. |
