Wife and I are going to visit Italy and would like to visit with other VW enthusiasts while there. Are there any Orgs or Clubs anyone knows about?
Any pointers are appreciated.

Hi there!
It depends of where r u travelling in Italy...there is plenty of VW Aircooled groups and clubs all over the "boot"!!
The one I'm into for example is called Lenti & Contenti ( http://www.lentiecontenti.blogspot.com/ ) and we're based in Liguria, west coast close to French border...

Thanks for the tip. We are going to be in Northern Tuscany near Lucca, but plan to go roaming around and would love to meet VW fans and see their cars.

when u'll be around Italy?There's plenty of meeting too all over from now till november...u'll find a few ones cruising around for sure!

Well be in Northern Tuscany near Lucca from April 5th thru the 16th
We would love to visit our Air-cooled brothers and sisters in Italia.

Hi to all in Italy,
Like Bill and Diane, my son and I will be visiting Italy and we would like to find out if there are any shows / meets in June of this year we will be missing two of our biggest shows here in Cal. ( OCTO and VW Clasic )
We will be landing 6-6-08 and departing 6-20-08

I am heading to Italy in about one week. I will be in Milan on April 19, 20 and 21st. I go to Florence on April 22nd and then back up to Bergamo on April 23. I will be working some of the time, but not all. I will have a mobile phone with me too.
PM me if anyone is available to drink some good wine and talk about buses or old VW's.

Wow, I'm glad I spotted this as I was going to post the same thing. I'm going to be visiting in July in Rome and Florence. Any good VW parts places to visit in those cities? I'd like to pick up some Italian specific pieces for my 72 1302 Super. Also are there any Italian VW specific magazines or toys, etc? I want to bring back some goodies with me.
