Quick question on replacing the rubber sections of the fuel vapour recovery system. I bought the GS kit for my '76 and it came with 9 short sections of hose plus the rubber tee. I haven't looked behind the firewall and into the fuel tank compartment yet but I'm assuming there are four hoses back there as per the diagram below. Aside from that, I have only found two other hoses: the one behind the spare tire well on the left (red in the diagram) and one that goes through a hole in the bracket that the factory diagnostic connector mounts to on the right side of the engine compartment. Am I missing any that are specific to the '76? What year does the diagram apply to?

Here's a pic of the diagnostic connector and bracket where the other rubber section passes through. You can see where the hard line passes in behind the connector.

Well, there are 8 colored pieces in the diagram, plus the one referenced in your photo, that makes 9.

Yes, but what I'm saying is that my '76 appears to be different than the diagram. For example, there are no rubber hoses at the tee. The hard line fits directly into the tee. I was just wondering if there were any other hoses on the '76 that are hiding some place I can't see. A '76-specific diagram is really what I'm after. Either that, or confirmation that there are indeed only six hoses plus the tee to be replaced.

Lots of minor changes over the years and even depending on which market the vehicle was being built for. Just use the hoses you need and store or dispose of the ones you don't use.
