| I just got a battery hold down (Genuine VW)from the Depot, but seems I am missing the original bolt to hold it in. Can anyone tell me the size to buy since my personal bolt selection is nill right now? |

The spec says M8x40 (VW part number N 010 340 4) and an 8x3 washer goes there also.
I measured mine to compare. I think the grade is 8.8 but mine is too corroded to be 100% sure.
M8 bolt, 1.25 pitch, 13mm head

| M8 is common but the length of the shank probably won't be. |
