| pretty well i guess, there is one piece of tin that i just cant figure out where it goes, has a rubber seal with an opening of about 2" x 4", any clues, no a very big piece either, has 4 places for screws to mount, maybe this will help someone help me!!! |

| that one goes on the left, above the oil cooler the rubber is to keep the air flowing over through the oil coller and so vibration will not damage it. It needs to go on before or at the same time the #3/4 cylinder tin go on and BEFORE the fan housing/ flaps go on. I hope you have not gotten ahead of yourself or you will have to remove some things... DO NOT leave off ANY of the cooling tin pieces... you would live to regret it and the engine might not! |

| Like I told you in your OG thread, type 2/4's are a different deal than the type1... I think most everyone made a few errors on their first type 2/4 rebuild and the "tin thing" is real common. good luck! |

| lol, its all together now, once i took the exhaust back off to put the engine mount on, lol, great learning experience, now im waiting on my compartment seal to arrive, so i can put her in and try to figure out how to hook everything up without all the smog equipment, im going to leave it off, i think???? wish me luck |

Nice Ratwell...,thanks for the links.
Speedy... did you get new heads? what did you do about blocking off the holes for the air injectors ? I think I mentioned this to you before about needing to plug them off...10mm FINE thread... Good luck! |

| no they are still open, i want to put it the motor into place before i start plugging anything off, i think i have to plug off the small port off the bottom of the E manifold too, and a few vacuum ports, ill figure something out |
