My car is not as great as a lot I see here, but i love it and you guys are the only people that might care! so here goes.
Here is what it looked like last year about 2 month before i parked it for winter:
First thing i finished over the winter was the disk conversion and drop spindles from Cip1, ofcourse I lost the nice pictures of the sexy disks. But here is a shot of stock shocks and tires for those that care.
After i got that over with i did some other misc stuff, like clean and detail engine, but no pictures of that yet. Added a deep sump and new hoses to the engine and car. The other day i changed my shocks out for new KYB GR-2 Gas Shocks. Wow did it ever make a difference. But you would assume it would when you were running blown up original shocks...
I ordered new BRM's rims from CIP1 and some tires from kal tire.
I called the day i was booked to get tires on rims and car. the guy at kal tire said the tires had arrived 45 minutes before but they SOLD them...
anyways after some large screaming matches. 3 hours of waiting for express shipping of new tires then 3 hours of fighting at the store. i got my tires. BUT they did not put them on my car because the manager said it was a safety issue... but I am getting carried away, here is what it looked like semi clean today:
Car rides awesome and gets even more looks now. only problem i found is need to take the eyebrows of the lights, cannot see nothing at night with the new angle of the car! |

| Thanks guys. I was going to narrow the beam and drop it down a bit more, But wife won't let me spend 1 more penny after the cash i used this winter on it haha. After driving it today though into town i doubt i will lower the front anymore, between the new pot holes and dips I already nailed my tow bracket on the road a few times :( so i will keep it safe where i am. |

Just put a narrowed beam on it and don't lower it any more. It would look tons better if it were tucking... |

| in British Columbia we have to have a L for one year with all sorts of restrictions, then get a N for 2 years with few restrictions then you can get your full license......it sucks |

This is what it looked like as of around may.20th:
The day before the biggest local car show I was having my car in. Some idiot hit my bug while my wife ran into work on the empty side of the parking lot. Left no note and no one seen anything. Pisses me off because you almost can't have anything nice now a days. It either gets stolen or some idiot wrecks it!
The good news is, the #1 (as far as I know) hot rod shop in Kelowna does amazing work, so I got to keep my O.G. fender:
To bad it costed me my car allowance for awhile. Next job I am doing is replacing my toasted rear torsion bars! |
