| Has anyone installed a VDO tach and had a problem with the needle bouncing (and jumping up a couple hundred rpms whenever you turn the lights or radio on)? Obviously there's a bit of electromagnetic interference going on, and I've had someone suggest using coax cable to connect it to the coil, but others have said that won't do anything. I'm just trying to avoid any more fruitless labor. |

Make sure your wire going to your tach is not running by any other wires. Sometimes if they are close or bunched all together they can pick up other currents. Just a thought!
