| I just rebuilt my first engine took it out today for the first drive,ran fine for the first mile or two then started to make funny noise.When I accelerate no noise when I take my foot off the gas it souunds like the tin is loose or something.Brought it straight home and at idle the noise is there.Hard to describe as the engine is turning over sounds metallic.Does not sound healthy any suggestions please. Crank pulley rubbing on the tine that goes behind it?
did you set the cranshft/flywheel end play properly? was the case align bored with new main bearings? |
