I know right off the bat, there will be several Hot VW's featured cars, the Unlimited Street East champion, several Unlimited Street east drag cars, the fastest street legal vw on the east coast, at least 5 ovals, at least 2 splits....jeez, do I have to go on? :D

vwwitch Tue Apr 01, 2008 4:52 pm

sounds like the place to be that day ... count me in ... hopefully we will get a great turn out ... the location is great also ... very close to some of the other VW shows so it cant be to terribly far for people to travel ...

Squirm'n German Thu Apr 03, 2008 2:31 pm

Rumor is that one of the oldest VW's on the east coast will be at this show as well????

bmx2c4me Thu Apr 03, 2008 2:41 pm

If we play our cards right we should see a few Pre-'50 Sedans and Military vehicles ;) Not to mention some FAST, and classic resto's too.

We may lose our a$$ on the free entry for pre-58 vehicles.

I think Sharrett (2nd oldest continuously run VW dealer) may jump on as a sponsor as well with assorted VW related goodies for raffles etc.

Still throwing the ingredients into the pot

Looks like Sharrett Volkwagen WILL be helping out with prizes for raffles and some sponsorship $$ as well. Sweet!

We'll be raffling off one of the new collectible VW electric guitars

I talked to a guy who will bring an old rusty westy for the kids to paint and such.

Also if the weather permits, we will have a '46 sedan in attendance.

...and a 1950 sedan with 12 times more HP than it left the factory with!

What a variety! :D
