Hi there, Im new to the samba and wanted to ask a question about my mates south african single cab import. We are trying to find any sort of info/history and was wondering if any one here can help us. This plate which is on the left hand side of cab near the door has some normal numbers and we can work out that it was made in Jan 64 but that's about it really. I have been told that it was probably a CBK? complete breakdown. Being made in Germany and then imported to Sth Africa and rebuilt there and also that the paint code 'T' might be a primer but apart from that we dont know. So if anyone can shed some light for us it would be great. Oh and the id plate on the air vent reads:

chassis no 1246733
Volkswagen Werks AG
Made in Germany
(plus the vehicle weights which are the same as any other single cab)
