| From your VIN number, any VW dealer's service department can see if there are any 'open'(unresolved) recalls on your specific vehicle. |

| I bought a 1997 Jetta GT for my daughter and looked the same thing up beforehand. There was one obscure listing (but still worth looking into and correcting if not already done so) for all 1997 Jetta's. |
