Anyone know what the torque for:
1. The 4 bolts holding the transmission mount to the chassis, AND
2. The nut and long bolt that goes through the rubber mount on said transmission mount.
This is a manual transmission, 91/1, but I assume it's the same for an automatic.
I looked in the Bentley manual, but couldn't find this anywhere. Seems kinda important! |

I believe the 4 bolts are 8mm. I would not exceed 20 foot pounds. The support bolt is 10mm and you might torque it to 44 foot pounds. |

Yeah, I figured I'd just torque per the bolt size/grade. I didn't see any markings on them, so I assume they are pretty low strength. Just wanted to do it right, as I've seen too many under and overtorqued bolt consequences....
thanks, |

Is this correct? only 20 foot pounds for the 4 bolts? Seems light.
Any tips on changing this mount? It seems pretty straight forward and just want to know if there is anything to look out for. |
