The fog lights are original not mounted directly on the bumbers.
They are mounted a little bit behind it to be behind the front of the bumber.
The orange is far, far away from my bus, which is where I like it.
And it's bumpers, with a P, not bumbers. |

Various things can be hung on these stainless screws.
Not yet perfected but an exercise in creativity. |

I'm finally going to rewire my fog lights this weekend; using this basic setup found online:
Hopefully it works out this time! |

My one real bow to my southern american roots, had to be daylighters.
BTW, noticed old Nigel (NasKeet) seems to have vanished. Don't know about the rest of you but as a Samba long termer I think it is kind of a shame he is gone. Him and his "1973 British Specification VW type 2 "1600" westfalia continental". |

Looking ove the forums on the Samba is like a rash. It eithor consumes you or you get rid of it. Ive tried to move on several times myself as its the same shit with fewer and fewer surprises left it seems.

He's still around. I got some long winded obsessive PM from him less than a week ago. He says his local library computer system won't let him access the forum section of TheSamba, or something like that....
He did comment on many of the pictures in my Gallery and I suspect he in in the process of composing another interminably long PM to me as he suggested in his last message. I made the mistake of entering into a dialogue with him in 2008 and he has been PMing me ever since. |

rustbus- thanks man..... it just makes sense to make the front lights turn on rather than just reflect. thought about making them blink with the signals as well...but i dont know what i wanna do. anyway i just ran the wire through an exsisting hole in the jam and through the vents in the front door frame, put those two wires in with the door speaker wires and covered with tubing

| I bought a set of busdepot round fog lights which are the perfect size in my opinion. The chrome looks like it will wear off rapidly - I have had good luck coating eyelids with clear enamel to ward off oxidation, I'll hit the fog lights with some before I install them. |
