Hey Guys I have a 1971 Fasty. Just bought it, very excited. Currently a 1776, will be a 2027 stroker by next weekend. I live in Mobile, AL

what a great response I know there are more come on now post up you all. It used to be Fastback owners where rare. This seems to have changed for the best.

Hey Don-
I've decided to build a bigger engine for the Fasty. The 1968 mill did great on the drive to LA and back, but I want more power though!! So very soon, we're going to start to build a potent little 2332 with 48 IDFs. Type 3 style of course...
I think next year the Fasty will be trailered to the Classic & just drive it in town. I think I can check off the list: "drive a VW to LA & back for the classic".
Soon i'll be part of the Type3 - 2.3L club. wooohoooo!

Nice very Nice. I need to get my 1914 together for mine slacking like normal ha ha . Keep me updated Justin. I have a lot of things I need to get done to mine. I wonder how many west coast type 3 people we can get together for classics next year.
