Hey Don-
I've decided to build a bigger engine for the Fasty. The 1968 mill did great on the drive to LA and back, but I want more power though!! So very soon, we're going to start to build a potent little 2332 with 48 IDFs. Type 3 style of course...
I think next year the Fasty will be trailered to the Classic & just drive it in town. I think I can check off the list: "drive a VW to LA & back for the classic".
Soon i'll be part of the Type3 - 2.3L club. wooohoooo! |

I live in Navarre, Florida. I have a 69 Fastback the I have owned for the past 6 years. I just rubuilt a 2.0 Type IV engine and put it in. You can view the car at: http://www.volksfolks.org/gallery/events/PascoBugJam2005/2005_1113_173019AA.jpg.html
The pictures of the engine in the car are at: http://public.fotki.com/wdbiggs2/willie-and-dianes-photos/20-ltr-in-a-fastback/
Sorry, but I haven't figured out how to post the picture here yet.
