It's been over $4 here for a few weeks. Remember when it was always 20- 30c. cheaper than Regular?
yes, I was just talking about this the other day to a friend of mine.
Seems like they are taking advantage of the folks that are using diesel
now just to punish them for getting better gas mileage and to probably
keep any new people from buying diesels!
What I want to know if where are all the angry truckers at? Dont you guys
remember a few years back when diesel first when about to about $1.79
per gallon and they were talking about banding together to boycott?
Why is there no uproar now that its $4 per gallon? |

I don't know if this is a coincidence or not but I noticed that a few of the stores we frequent have not restocked various food and other products we have been trying to purchase.
Less deliveries due to gas? |

I drive a minivan. Last summer it cost around $50-60 to fill it up. Now it is $70-80 to fill it up.
I believe it $1.19 a liter for 89.
Europe has it wayyy worse. |

Pick yourself up a CB radio and take a stroll down the highway. Truck drivers used to tell jokes, whistle at and talk about women, and generally amuse themselves - but now all they discuss are philosophical viewpoints on fuel prices and the politics driving them. |

A couple stations down the street from me have this crap for regular unleaded:
"3.09/gal with cash payment"
"3.13/gal credit/debit card"
WTF is that all about? Who carries cash anymore? |

| I spoke with a truck driver earlier this week; he is not driving now due to a medical problem, but stated that truckers have been talking about organizing a strike to protest the artificially-inflated price of diesel... |

$3.86 super. I think reg is $3.53 or something.
My stepdad had to drive a few hundred miles a couple weeks back, he's got a decent new Ford truck (diesel of course). He's a farmer/orchardist and most of his driving is short distances- and has his own tank so doesn't normally see the bill for topping off his truck, he got back to town...a pack of smokes and a tank of fuel cost him $220 he said.
I heard a little blurb on the radio the other day about gas prices, they mentioned this little place on the california coast- I remember sleeping in the dirt across the street from this station one summer with this hot chick..anyway, Gourda gas prices $5.20/gal.

when we were still running the kenworth, we were using a little over 100 gallons of diesel a night! |

Stop Wining!
8$ a gallon here. And it's been like this for atleast a year. 5 Years ago it started climbing from about 5$.
For the first time ever, the Diesel has become more expensive than gasoline just last week. And mind you, 50% of cars in europe have diesel engines. |
