Most people use a FI fuel pressure gauge from the local parts store and clamp the hose at the nipple on the 3/4 fuel rail.
That fitting is not that standard but you can find pressure gauges with an assorting of fittings. Some of those sets will say they work with Bosch AFC or Bosch L-Jetronic and you can screw it into the nipple. They are usually $250+ so I haven't bought one yet (or ever will at that price?)
An alternative is to get one of those mini VDO pressure gauges that go to 60 psi and permanently install it into the fuel rail because it's less messy. I'm planning to do this but haven't yet. It's always handy to have the portable gauge to help others in need. |
