I haven't used that stuff, but I have used Evaporust and it looks very similar.
I used to be able to find Evaporust at Advance Auto Parts, but the stores here don't carry it. It works fantastic as a soak for parts. I haven't tried it very much using the "spray on" method.

| Is this stuff phosphoric acid like POR-15 Marine Clean. Otherwise. is it the same metal prep that removes all paint from body metal. The gallon price for the hobbyist is fair if it truly removes all car finish. |

| I doubt it's phosphoric acid as it purports to be biodegradable, won't pit metal and won't eat off paint. Also, the emergency procedures for swallowing it (induce vomiting) are different than those for phosphoric acid (do NOT induce vomiting). |
