| Zwitters a hard and expensive to restore being a 6 month only car the correct parts are hard and expensive to find.....but then again ANY splits going to be expensive to restore and parts will be hard to find. I'm currently doing a '55 Ribbed door oval and thats getting expensive. |

Fun and frustrating as hell to do. As long as the project gets completed the rewards are well worth it though. |

Who are you to tell some one how to talk? What cause you own one you can boss people around. Try being a little more friendly to people who may not be as in the know as you, your representing the VW community. Not trying to be rude, and maybe you werent either but I realy enjoy the fact that most VW people are usualy kind people, not like the Vett community, or such. |

"splitty" generally refers to split windshield buses ('67 and earlier). At least that term is more prevalent in that crowd.
A split window Beetle is generally called a "split". |

Does the Vette community call the '63s splittys, or would it sound dumb to them? |

Buses should either be "split bus" or "splitscreen busses" NOT
a splitty; it's too similar in sound to a real split Beetle.
