Another question, I am thinking about just buying parts like body sections because it's getting harder for me to find a split close to my state. I am sure it would cost more to buy pieces to pieces than just buy complete shell. I know it's odd but what's your option? |

Absolutely. You would be far better off saving your $$ and buying something SOLID first, COMPLETE second and CORRECT third.
The day I bought my '50 11G I could have parted it out and tripled my money. It cost far more to "assemble" one than to just buy one... even at today's prices. With the economy what it is today (in the US) it shouldn't be that hard to find a motivated seller. Just lie and wait...... that is what I did....
