| I have a major oil leak which seems to be coming from the top of the engine cause the oil cycles down from top of the piston sleaves, my '70 bus is equiped with a external oil cooler and filter system that was installed by the previous owner I'm guessing, the oil lines come out of the front of the dog house (everything is sealed in too, someone did a decent job of it) Could it be one of the lines? The oil cooler is located by the fan at an angle (wish I had some dang pics!!!) and it does not appear to be leaking either, so it must be something inside the dog house. Any suggestions on what might be leaking from there? Also the engine runs great except it hits a certain RPM and the van begins to sligtly bounce, could this be the timing is off silightly? It goes great besides that. Thanks in advance everyone!!!! |

| you could try cleaning everything off really good and then run it and look for the source of the leak. against that clean engine it should show up a lot easier. just a thought. good luck bud. |

It is just behind and to the left of the distributer. There is a single wire attached to it.
