Thanks to a post given by a fellow "Samba-nite", I was easily able to press the stablizer link on to the sway bar. I removed the sway bar from the vehicle (easy, removed the two horseshow clamps holding the sway bar to frame) and the other bolt of the non broken stablizer link.

I then brought the assembly inside the house, heated the new stablizer link (with new bushing) in a boiling pot of water, placed it on a piece of cardbord on the floor, then pressed the sway bar end into the bushing hole while twisting. It went in easily withing a few seconds.

Coated the bottom shafts of the two stablizer links with anti-sieze (to keep them from rusting in their sleaves), and bolted everything back up.

Good as new. Thanks for the boiling water trick to whomever suggested it in a previous post.
