Generally the wombats tunnel their way into buses.
Its the possums that climb in through the high level engine vents.
Kangaroos just use the doors.

the first owner of that green splitty was an importer and seller of porsche parts, so he fitted a porsche motor and gearbox into the old bus, he needed really "clean cold" air for the porsche twin carbies, so what he did was panel off the origional high vents outside, then fitted the boat hatch roof vents and re-paneled the interior roof using the origional interior air guides to get the air from the roof down to the motor! queerie solved!

if anyone wants to paste this into the samba thats fine by me! cheers jon

ps i met and chatted with the owner in belmont area-he told me the story

Kool as hell buses down under! 8)

So I'm looking at this one and though it looks like a hack, it got me thinking about the "side ramp loader" option. :-k Did they come with belly pans? :?
