| Bummer! I would love to get a diesel Rabbit or Rabbit truck. I am also curious if it would be beneficial to turbocharge that little diesel engine. The extra power would be nice, but I would love the fuel mileage it was/is capable of. |

I regret selling the one I had new back in the 80's. The guy I sold it to has passed away, but his sons wont tell me if it is still around. The guy was a car collector, and hit me up to buy my diesel Caddy not too long after I bought it.
There was a vehicle that got 50 mpg on the highway almost 30 years ago. That is better than most of the modern hybrids. |
