Hi!!

I'm going to spend this summer in Reno(NV). I'm wondering if you have list of meetings during summer in Cali!! I would love to see how it looks in USA!! :-)

Look under the "Community" tab for shows in California. And welcome to the USA!

Reno is 2 hours or less from Sacramento CA. there are a couple shows here, more in Southern California. If you are willing to drive a good distance, the vw classic is in early June, and well worth the 8 hour drive (or more)

Malina,

From June 1st thru the 8th........many VW meetings and activities. You can contact anyone up in here, including me, if you need any help or guidance as to where to go and what to do. I'd stay away from Hollywood or anyting too touristy. This part of Cali is very depressing :wink:

Thank you :) Have you ever been to Poland?? It crazy country but I like it ;)
But now I want to travel and see as many places as I can :) I will contact you when I'll be in US :) I can't wait for that :) Last year I was in New Hampshire (I saw only few old vw). It was really great time. I hope this summer will be at least as good as last one :)

Malina, I was in Poland last year in June. I drove from Berlin to Auschwitz! Then spent some time in Krakow. Though on the way into Poland we stopped at a few towns, though I don't know the names of these places. But I do have them written down. I also saw the most beautiful woman in the world...........and I have gotten around :wink: ..........Poland rocks and the Vodka rules!!

Hi Malina, you're gonna love it here. So much to do and see, nice people, great weather, VW club gatherings , events all over California. We're getting the bad weather behind us, 4 days of rain and snow getting everything washed down and cleaned up for you. Its been dry since February but Mother Nature likes to mess with holidays, especially Memorial Day. About 10 cars from the area braved it and drove 100 miles in the rain to the Bugorama in Sacramento Saturday. Had a great time, warm and dry there, then drove back up the mountain in the rain 100 miles Sunday. Beautiful drive in the rain, rich colors , mist and fog. Usually its just sun and blue sky, like, 300 days a year. Which we like....and why we live here. If theres anything you need, info, airport pickup (VW), scenic tours, places to stay, etc. , I'm happy to help. Let me know, Steve

I totally agree with Il Capo, you have some of the most beautiful woman in the world, we meet very nice people in Katowice and Krakow and of course visited Aushwitz, to our surprise we meet several people who spoke spanish. I never saw any old VWs there but I'm sure they are somewhere. You will love Lake Tahoe it's beautiful, have fun in California and don't forget to try mexican food, can you say Pepto?

In poland there is mexican food ;-) I like it, but I will try this in USA:P maybe it's a bit different:P:P I will check it :-)

Pepto is a pink tropical drink given only to those who have not experienced the real mexican food. :lol:
