Found 1957 the seller is asking $1200. The seller claims car sat in barn for 20 years. Then he bought it from a friend 5 years ago drove it around town few times. Needs alot of work I understand that. The body looks straight. paints shot, inside's shot, the motor who knows, but is still a pretty car!

If ya want it, go get it. 1200 seems pretty low being it's an Oval. If you don't want it pass it on to someone who does.....like me. :idea: :wink:

Dude bottom line is this. If its like you say and the body is straight with all the sheetmetal intact then its worth way more than that. Especially if it got a motor and everything else in it. Take some photos and post it up.

That is what I need to hear. I am not an impulse buyer @ all. But found this vw sitting in add. And something says do it. I will figure out how to post pics. But looking at he w/guy who bought the 56 today. This car is way better. K i will find a way 2 past the pics I have.

Both, no it was midnight and I couldn't sleep. Cant stop thinking about the car. Do you have any thing to say about vw's or are the guy that goes through each post and cut them a part :?:

Great come back. Was having fun-- chill.Sounds like you are getting a deal dont hesitate buy the car!! Post the pics when you get it home so you can have time to give us some detail. Always like to hear of a great find.

Matthewf is the oval you just found in Eastern Washington? If it's the same one that I'm thinking about, your getting a great deal at $1200!

Lack of sleep doesnt help. My bad. Well it is a race someone is also on there way to look at this car. I will let you know! Looking forward for feed back from the Oval Crew

I paid a bit more than that for a rust-free shell (and not a whole lot more with it) back here in the salty east. I know conditions and prices are better out west, but d@mn! I wouldn't be able to sleep, either! :shock:

She's gone :cry: Some evil woman stoll my car. So if anyone know of a beetle for sale in the Wa., Or., please let me know. I should post the pics of the car still tonight.
