View original topic: Wide five to Ford?

I have some old Volvo wheels i want to fit on my '60 pick-up.
They were from a P1800 which has a PCD of 4.5" the same as some Fords i believe.
Anyone sell or make adaptors to go from 5 on 205 to 5 on 4.5"?
Or any other suggestions to fit them?
I think i can fit modified Beetle drums on the rear when/if i fit a swingaxle transmission, not sure about the front though, one option is blank CSP discs to get drilled to fit but its not cheap...
Thanks!

Search the classifieds. Tipe in "adapter" and see what comes up. You should be able to find some. I recently sold two sets.

Be careful with the Volvo wheels. Every one I've seen has had a 5x110mm bolt circle. Ford is generally 5x114.3mm(4 1/2"). Hope this helps. Dan

Thanks! I will try to measure the PCD, i just looked up Volvo 1800 PCD on the net and it came back with 4.5" it looks about right though.
Anyone make adapters new?

You can take the wheels to any good tire/wheel shop and they should be able to measure the lug hole spacing in the wheels and tell you the bolt pattern.

I don't know of anybody making new adapters. I'm sure somebody does though.
