1973 std. Beetle
and I begin again... this time it's a std :D
-but still a "fatty"
this baby is super solid even the floor pans :shock: and came with all kinds of new goodies
What I have planned for this one won't be much of a surprise...... or will it :twisted:

ah yea... the local aircoolers are already making comments such as
"well get ready to stock up on some rattle can paint"
"you aren't gonna fu*k this one's paint are you"
but I'm gonna compound and wax the paint on it and once I'm done with everything... I may get it painted... this will give me time to decide if I wanna stay yellow or go with a two tone or different color ect....... |

Just won this set up on eBay(boy it was a battle) front and rear disc brakes for about the same cost as just fronts :D ... I will update with more once brakes are recieved and I begin the install

Today I sanded and painted the pans to put a stop to the surface rust till I get to the point of removing the body from the pan and coating them... The pass side was looking real rough.Nothing beats OG pans,so I wanted to be sure and save them before the rust got to be a problem.Both sides are still very solid :D

soon.... damn work keeps geting in the way :evil:
my 5" narrowed beam w/adjusters (thanks to a local aircooler) and soon after,drop spindles... should be ready the next few weeks....
I will be updating as I get things done.... it's killin' me not being able to make progress :x |
