Nope,
I still need to get the clearance ball joints

and roach, I went 3 inner spline clicks as it doesn't lower it as much as the outter... I admit I may have gotten carried away  ... once I get the motor in and body on ... and take it for a couple test drives and what not... I may end up raising it 1 inner click..or I may just live with the ride as this won't be a daily driver... it's just my toy

good luck.

I hate empi 8's, but I'm feelin' those rims. They'll look good once you get the 195s. 8)

thanks... there called "interceptors" as for who makes or should I say, made them..... I dunno

Fattie Thu Aug 28, 2008 5:48 pm

it will go lower with the body and everything on it... I "bounced" on the front and got the bottom adjuster screw to smack the ground a few times... chipped the concrete
I'm still planning on mounting up some 195/50r15's on the front and they are 1" shorter

MURZI Thu Aug 28, 2008 9:26 pm

I would just have to set that body on there......Curiosity

Looking good bro. Is that the original pan?

Nevermind, I scrolled back and read the beginings of this thread.

Fattie Sat Aug 30, 2008 7:28 pm

Due to the coming hurricane GUSTAV... I decided it would be best to get the body off the horses and put it on the pan with a few bolts installed considering it is sitting in the driveway...after this storm BullShit passes the body will be coming back off
anyway... here's an unexpected preview :D
remember the engine isn't installed

The Suck:
..the 185/60r15 tires hit the back of the headlight buckets and hit on the inner, upper fender well area when turning the wheel.... so I'm for sure going to need to get the lower profile 195/50r15...which is the same diameter as the more commonly used 175/55r15 but wider to better fit my 6" wide rim...once those are mounted up I will raise the front about 1"... so I'll have the same ride height in front but shouldn't have any clearance issues once the body is mounted permanently.

buggpower Sat Aug 30, 2008 8:50 pm

MURZI Sun Aug 31, 2008 11:51 am

ummm... alot....
but seriously I dont know how many inches but.... with the gutted body on and beam still not "broke in"... the lower adj screw is less than 1/4" from the ground and this is with 185/60 tires

headlight buckets yea... ....but I dont want to beat on the body in the upper rear inner fender area as you will be able to see it bashed in when one looks into the trunk and that's just ghetto :P ... but I think what I got planned will work.

..as for leaving the area for the storm.... I'm sure we will be ok... I'll let you guys know how it goes here once it's all said and done.

dubtype1 Sun Aug 31, 2008 1:16 pm

Just make sure you buy good bulbs. The ones that come with the lights are crap. I've had to replace them allready.
