i would like to now if i can instal on my 54 a 58/65 Front Hood ?

| Yes, any hood from 1949-67 will fit. It just won't be era-correct. 1953-55 are more specific to your Beetle, but they're difficult to locate and are getting more expensive. |

| Support brace for the hood is mounted on one of the hinge bolts on late ovals, it has its own separate hole on earlier cars. The stamping is quite a bit different in this area to accommodate that. Also a triangular reinforcement is stamped on the underside in the four tab slot area on hoods through 54-ish. There might be more.... ? |

this is a temporary solution , because my front hood is very rusty :? :?

:shock: That looks to be the original hood. Rusty as it is, try to save it by replacing the rusty metal. |
