Anyone had to replace the throttle spring on a 412? Mine is 73.
Spring seems weak. My idle is too fast, but if I pull the throttle back with my fingers it idles down to a good speed.
Is there a recommended spring or just find a stronger one of similar length?

| hi,,bloom,, i am not sure for your solution, first ,,look on your trottle box if the shaft is not loose or if the shaft play in the bushing ,, if you have a big loose , the bigger spring d,t can fix your problem,, disconnect only the gaz wire on the trottle and look your running ,, if it is correct,, the problem can come from the cable or the spring onder the pedal,, on this ,,model,,,d,,,injection,, the main problem for that come from the trottle box,, the bushing is use,,yes you can fix temporairely your problem with a new or bigger spring ,,but that can doo more damadge on the air flap inside the trotlle box,, bb412 |
