Anybody bought window rubber from this place lately?
From their site:
After more than a year of searching for replacement rubber seals, we finally had them made. If you are also searching for T4 seals |

| I bought one from them. All they did was cut down a Bus front rubber and "Welded" it back together. I never tried it on a car so, Dont know if it's a good fit or not. |

Are you saying bus rubber is the same except for length?
How did they weld them?
How long ago was it they are not returning my emails. |

| I think that the bus seal is pretty much the same cross section as the 411/412 one. I had definitely considered the cutting and splicing route before I got hold of a Brazilia seal. |

They welded them with the black glue you use. |

Sorry I don't, I found it while I was in Puebla Mex scrounging one of their auto part alleyways.
Here is the email for another guy I met while hunting parts in Puebla, you might try him. It has been three years since I was there so he may have moved on though. He was real helpful and spent a lot of time trying to find T4 ball joints for me and had good English skills.

I bought a complete set from them in 2005 when I was preparing to have my 412 wagon restored. At the time they were just beginning to offer both unslitted and slitted styles (for the chrome trim inserts) of window rubber. I chose to keep my chrome window trim so I bought the slitted rubber. There must be a trick to getting rubber with chrome trim to go back in, because my resto shop had a hell of a time doing it and still managed to put a few new dents in the chrome. They also found that some of the pieces were too long, but they simply cut and re-glued them. I've had the rubber in 2 years now and have had no problems with any of it.
Revolks might be better these days, but back in 2005 they were sure hard to deal with. They didn't return emails for days, and were very slow to complete my order (it took months). Hopefully their customer service has improved since then. |

| All of my exchanges were via email. I think it took 3 emails before I got a response. At this point I'm still waiting to receive my items. I'll let you know when I get them. I'll also post when I install the new rubber. Let everyone know how they fit. I stuck with the US style and will attempt to reuse my current trim. Right now it is in perfect shape. We'll see if I can reinstall and keep it the same. |

Ms Nixon was very nice and informative (through email) I oredered a full set ( front and rear and 4 side windows) for American style (with trim) and the total was $344.00 shipped. I just may respray the outside of our wagon now that we have new rubber. |

| I also received my full order last week. Took a while, but I guess they were waiting for one of the side windows to be cut. Anway, I have my order and it looks good. I have not installed anything yet, so hopefully the fits are "close". I just kept checking with Nadine Nixon and she was very good to keep me posted. Good luck! |
