Hello,
I just picked up a 1974 914 with a 1.8. Original fuel injection. The gas tank has been treated. I need to know the best way to replace the fuel lines. I tried to blow the clogged lines out with a compressor, no luck. I am new to the Porsche community, although I have a 73 westy with a 2.0. Any help in the matter would be great.
Thanks

couple of vendors on the 914world.com site of the replacement main fuel lines in the chassis. they are stainless steel.
the rubber lines on the engine are a high pressure FI type of hose that Porsche dealer still sell. Its a heat resistant line cuz its soo hot in the engine compartment. |

Bleyseng,
I checked out the 914 world site. What is the best way to remove and replace fuel lines with stainless? The lines seemed to be located in the middle of the body. Does the console have to be removed?
