Did anyone, or does anyone now, make 16 or 17 inch wide five steel wheels?
Aftermarket is fine, just trying to find a vendor that sells 17 inch wheels.

The only such wheels I've ever heard of, steel that is, are the stock 16" ones that VW used in the splitwindow era. But those rims were also very very skinny, not suitable to for any modern low profile 16" tire.

How about 16 or 17 inch porsche 5 lug bolt patterned steel wheels?
Same pattern as the VW wheel with the oval holes along the outer edge of the middle section?

| i know that some vanagon sycro's had the "16" package and came with 16 in steel wheels but that would be the 5x112 bolt pattern of the newer v dubs |

| Porsche made 16 inch rims for Pre-A 356's but you need to donate a kidney to buy a set and you can't buy repros. They're very skinny also, and thus difficult to buy radial tires for |
