| will there be any problem installing a later synco trans into my 55 oval using a soild front mount and 36 hp motor gear wise ok not to tall |

Should be ok.
Solid mount could generate more transmission noise into the car, lots of people go for a type 2 nose cone and hockey stick so they can run a rubber mount.
Gearing should be ok if you go for a 1200 box

I agree. Do not use the solid mount unless you are prepared for lots more noise. Those solid mounts are fine for offroad contraptions, but not for onroad mobiles. |
