Here are a couple pictures that will make you want to adjust your e-brakes!
I guess the story is that they stopped to scout the river, and turned around to find their car rolling into the river...ouch! They said the parking brake was pulled, but not working 100%

Hmmmmm.
Where to lay the blame.....
Subaru or douchebags in color-coded Wiggles outfits...
I'm guessing the Subaru was fine.

| Photoshopped. The river looks like it changes direction between the first and second photos. And who puts photo credits on a candid shot about such a "disaster"? |

They appear to have lost a kayak also. In the first pic there are three, yellow, blue and red. In the rest of the pics the red one is gone.

| I would scout that section too, especially with playboats like those. |

That's a common look when a slow shutterspeed is used with rushing water. Also note the blurred wiper arms. |

 Try watching the film footage.

Did anyone still saying this is a chop watch the video of the car being pulled from the river (linked above)?
That is one conscientious editor to create those fake stills, and then to create a few random video clips of the car being removed from the water. I wish I got paid to waste my time doing that stuff. |

The car was running when it fell into the river...and it was still running when they pulled it out.
The group did lose a kayak that got destoyed and came off the rack.
I think it is pretty funny how everyone thinks everything's got to be photoshopped these days. |

The pictures really do, to me, look photoshopped. But obviously the video proves that wrong. I still don't get how the two remaining kayaks are strapped down so nicely after the other fell off, it seems like there would be some slack from where the other one was. Oh well.

| The car probably started rolling when they were strapping down the third kayak. |

| If you look closely, there were two sets of straps. One set failed. |
