I was thinking that had to be a typo. But it they're worth that much. I have one for sale for $900. That's right folks, half off! Come get it before it's gone!

Most likely not an intentional typo. Being from Kentucky, he probably never learned proper decimal point usage. And before anyone gets offended, here in Seattle-tucky we have our fair share of half-wits as well.

OK, I just reread the whole ad because I still cant believe the price. After reading about all the "NOS" stuff and a beat up tranny I would like to change my bid to $3000 tops. Looks like it might have been hit too since the passenger fender is from a 68 69.

I can't find the ad any more but there was a guy on the OKC craigslist who wanted nearly $13,000 for a 74 (i think) convertible beetle...

These people around here must think they're made of gold, I havent found any good priced ones lately besides this...at least I THINK it's a good price. I've never really looked at Beetles.
