Although as of right now I think this is the best example of a shitty ad:

Its been almost 4 months now. Still trying to get it "unburied"?

He must have left it out in the rain after the rebuild. Those cylinders don't look new to me. They look oily too.

I looked at this car about 6 months ago in a yard / shop near Mooneyes its an early vin # car but its rusted out and what was not rusted was cut,, its hideous, hiding a lot in the photos, it would need full rockers and a new chassis / pan as it's been torched to hell

$300 tops, nothing good for parts, all the panels are, cut, dented or rusted...

I found a yard today nearby but still out in the sticks, and it had easily over 200 vws sitting solid and dry in the middle of the desert -- I counted 16 squarebacks and that was only from what I could see from the front gate!

its loaded with pretty much nothing but ACVWs. and apparently at one time there was a shop and parts store attached -- but it looks like its all been closed for a long time. I wish I could get ahold of the guy and see if he wants to sell anything...

I'm hunting him down. there are simply way too many parts in there to let em go to waste.

Does a tacometer tell you when it's time for Mexican food?

I could use one of those...

Once you've had too many, it's too late!

Original, unrestored '64 with a '66 hood beak? Rare Option?

Nice car though!

It is a nice car...I was looking for the Mickey Mouse grill on the front but didn't see it.

The car also isn't push button dash-makes me think it's a super late 64 if it has Mickey Mouse grill, or a 65 if it doesn't.

Well '65's had short beak trim too. Hmmmm, that car looks awesome but there are too many red flags.

Yeah, but a hood is easier to replace than a front clip...

That car looks awesome!

The beak is weird.

The car is a '65 by the VIN.
VIN # 365094432
(December, 1964 production)
Probably bought in '64 and registered as a '64 since it's Europe.

I didn't even look at the VIN...obvious answer right there the whole time!

A Fatchick Fastback for $16,750? I want what he's smoking.
http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=1263782

Also, a "1600cc inline flat 4-cylinder"? I want to see that.

"15 inch steel wheels with Dog Dish wheel covers" I don't know about dog dish wheel covers but I do see some regular ole hubcaps, lololol.

Clearly an estate sale by some random agent, joined yesterday, 0 posts, 1 ad. Subtract about $12,000 price and he might be able to move it.

beautiful car though. too bad it isn't a 69 automatic with a/c!
