It was listed at $8500.
To flip on the same classifieds he bought the car on seems pretty stupid/tacky/etc. to me.
Can't a seller get banned for that?
LOL, no.
I'd have to ban myself. :) |

I was just looking at that car...looks a hell of a lot more solid than my car did when I bought it. |

Everett and ataraxia,
I'm feeling generous. Since you are the first 2 to respond to me and there are 2 parts, I'd like to add to your respective random and/or useless parts piles by buying each of you one of these parts. Who'd like the defrost switch and who'd like the cover plate?
I'll include a set of pitted points, a condensor w/o wires, a spark plug gapper w/ the .25-.28 range broken off, 2 zip ties (one yellow, one red), a household dimmer switch, and the cracked speaker section of a T-3 dash. :D |

Dammit, where were you a week ago?
I just bought a pack of 100 zip ties 4 days ago. |

I've already got a defroster switch with no guts bequeathed to me by someone else who had "treasures" for me...useless to me for two reasons.
I'll take the cover plate...and whatever random crap you want to stick in the box.
Seriously.
PM me for my address.
I dare you  |

Ha...nice try buddy...I have your address and I'm more than willing to 'share the wealth'
On a related note: How much server space would you save if you expelled ads over, say, 4 years? How many ads would disappear in the T3 parts section?
Inquiring minds want to know... :-k |

haha we should start a random mailing type 3 list. someone starts by sending a completely random part that has no value to them to someone else on the list. When that person gets it they keep the part and send another from their stash or sends the original onward.
All this while keeping a timeline thread of what was sent and received.
the whole thing restarts when someone sends out an incredibly useful part yet random part to someone who actually needs it. |

My wife started something like this fifteen years ago with some friends at their wedding as a random gift...and is exactly what I plan to do.
The 'box of crap' concept is still carried out to this day among the friends at weddings-we got ours and are preparing it for the next couple.
It's an awesome idea for T3 parts...and who knows? Maybe we'll each find something useful.
D/A/N: You get the honor of starting the process...
The thread starts when I receive the box. :D |

Still waiting for the tin to come "out of" the powder-coater 8 months after the ad was first posted? This guy needs a realistic price. |

Yeah, but to the average "I'm looking for a type 3" person, that looks rather expensive and not all too special. |

I should Email and tell him I've got a couple questions:
1. Can I kick your tires?
2. Can I make you an offer? |
