| Did anyone else catch the PBS series Secrets of the Dead? Just the other night they had an episode about the East German Olympic Team's use of steroids in the 1970s. It focused on the East German governments control over the program and it's systematic adminstration of a steroid regimen. It covered the women atheletes and what the steroids did to them. OMG. :shock: It can't adequately be described here, you had to see the show. |

| The one athelete that was turned into a man...unreal. I mean un-fucking-believable. It was very sad too. They were teenage girls who had no idea they were being fed massive doses of steroids...and then one day they find the villagers chasing them through the town square with torches and pitchforks yelling "Kill the sasquatch!" |

in 1976, just before Montreal it was poined out to the east german swimming team trainer that all his female teammenbers seemed to have surprisingly low voives.
