View original topic: Engine builders: suggestions

I've read of horror stories of some remanufactured engine builders but the time has come for me to bit the bullet and replace my engine. She was bleeding bad at the main seal so I pulled the engine to replace seal. After removing flywheel, found my case had a crack
Any and all suggestions on a engine builder they have purchased a longblock from in the past with good results would be appreciated.

This question should be asked in the Engine forum and if you search in that forum you will find everything your looking for.

It takes a bit more work this way, but you'll get a LOT more information from the few people that know what their talking about.

Best of Luck!

This has been discusses many times in the engine forum.

If you're looking for a stock rebuild there are a number of places that can deliver a good long block.

Personally, i've installed about 6 engines from www.steelbuggin.com ranging from 1500SP autostick to a 2276 dual IDA engine. All have been complete, well built and trouble free. Anibal Chico is easy to get on the phone and always helpful.
