This is my favorite Avenger, sorry to hear you're selling it. The new owner is getting a masterpiece!
One question I have is where did you get the linear actuator used in your picture above? |

| The rear uses two of those actuators and I think I got them off ebay. |

| They look a lot like Firgelli actuators (which may have been sold under another name on fleabay): http://www.firgelliauto.com/ |

Hey thanks for that!
I've been wanting to replace the missing air springs for the gull wing doors on my Laser 917 and comtemplating mechanizing them. These may be just what I need! |

| Is this sold or still available? Does the SP have heater boxes and is there room for the heat exchange tubes to cleanly enter the cabin? I am interested! |

The car is still available. Its still not running right though. It idles good but has a bad stumble off idle that make it not drive right. I have lowered my price to reflect that issue.
The car now has a valid Mass title.
I either have to commit to working on the car during the winter or start my Deserter project. Since the Deserter might be a keeper I would rather go in that direction.
It does not have heater boxes (J tubes) but I would through in a nice used set I have if you are interested. |

Wondering . . . titled as a VW or an Avenger?
Where in Massachusetts do you live? I'm on the coast near Plymouth Rock, might be able to help you some weekend with that engine if you're not too far.
Best,

I live out in Western Mass...near Springfield. I have a couple of interested parties so it may be gone soon. If not I will think about it over the winter. One thing I hadn't checked is the dwell and I will be getting a dwell meter from my brother-in-law and check that.
Titled as a VW Beetle. Mass title with the correct VIN. |

Spectacular build.
Only just came across it and easily my fave kit car shape.
I look forward to the Deserter build but I just don't love buggies the way I love a car that looks as much like a GT40 as the Avenger does. |

The Avenger has found a new home in Michigan.
The money was received and I have been in contact with the shipping company.
My herd has been now cut in half. |

| Actually got out to the shop yesterday for a bit and got both frame rails fabbed up and then ran out of welding wire. I will most likely be back out there tonight. |

Sorry to hear that you've had one of your "Babies" leave the nest. What a great score for the new owner!
Do you think it possible for the new owner to log on here and keep s updated on it's progress? <hint, hint> |

"My herd has been now cut in half."
Half ? ! ? ! ?
That ain't a herd. That's barely a hobby . . . talk to me when you got so many that you somehow forget that you even own one of 'em. |

Sorry TC...meant to say that since the Avenger and Aztec 7 have both been sold my 4 projects are now down to two...the Deserter and the SR.
Having 4 cars piled up by my shop was a little too many for me. |
