Does anyone know if you can purchase the larger bottom trim clips from a 73 412 online anywhere?

I purchased the smaller clips from bughaus.com, but have not seen the larger clips from the very bottom for sale anywhere.

I wonder if they might be the same as the lower Type 3 trim clips?

hy,,bloom,, i have the exact model ,,fron ,,gm,, for the botthom trim clip,she fit no. 1 for the 412,,bb412

hey, you're talking about the trim at the bottom of the door right? When i was re-doing my 411, i had to get them from a guy who was parting out a 411 (or 412 i can't remember which). He was able to get them out and i could re-use them. so, maybe check for a parting out ad or junk yard with a type 4. I have a type 3 too and the chrome trim on the type 4 is way too big. i hope this helps.

right..there is a strip of trim on the rocker panels that has much larger trim clips. Looks like Albert has some idea of where to get them.

I'm only missing 2-3, but getting them off to do the body work I'll most likely break the remaining ones.
