Hey all,
I have a '75 914 2.0 with dual DelLorto 40s.
I just had the engine rebuilt, the previous owner didn't know he had a flooding problem in the right carb and so the pistons and rings got washed out.
The problem now lies in that I can't seem to find the float assembly and seat for this carb. Also, I'm not certain what the weight of the float is nor the size of the needle, as neither seem to be marked. Can anyone tell me this?
Also, if someone could point me to a place where I could get these replacement parts, I'd be super grateful.
I've been without a car for a month now trying to track these parts down. Luckily I work from home, but the cabin fever is killing me, if you catch my drift.
